The Gym Group needed an audio solution at their Monument facility that would be able to keep up with the high demand of their 24/7 facility and do their new Les Mills cycle classes justice.
The Vision
The Gym Group were installing a Les Mills Virtual studio at their Monument site in London and were looking for an audio package that would deliver great sound on par with these premium indoor cycling workouts.
The Challenge
The design of the studio included a large glass screen video wall. We had to deliver a solution that could provide the punchy audio The Gym Group were looking for while mitigating the challenges presented by the acoustically reflective surface.
The Solution
We installed four of our PEAKSOUND WS8 full range cabinet loudspeakers speakers along the sidewalls, backed up by one WS15 subwoofer placed at the front of the studio.
With no budget allocation for acoustic treatment, our sound engineers carefully mapped the acoustic coverage to minimise reverberation from the glass wall.
The Result
The Gym Group now offer the world-class Les Mills cycle classes in their Monument gym, open to members 24/7. With no faults since installation in 2018, the acoustic solution provided by our team delivers reliable and powerful sound with maximum clarity for the space.
