We were delighted to be brought onboard the build of the incredible new Places Leisure Camberley facility. Bringing together the best of private sector leisure and fitness experiences, Evoson were trusted with the sound design and delivery for the dry areas across this vast leisure centre.
The Vision
Places Leisure wanted to offer the best of private sector leisure and fitness experience at accessible and inclusive local authority prices.
In 2019, they secured funding for a brand new, multi-million-pound centre in Camberley where they hoped to bring this vision to life.
The Challenge
Places Leisure required reliable, quality sound throughout every dry area of the new centre, to deliver clear public announcements and immersive background music.
They wanted to deliver quality audio to deliver a premium feel, while keeping to a reasonable budget to help maintain accessible fees.
With a variety of spaces requiring different types of sound, they were looking for a flexible audio partner they could work with to bring their vision to life.
The Solution
We mapped out an end-to-end audio solution to fit Places Leisure’s requirements.
We used our powerful WS series cabinet speakers to provide immersive sound across their studio spaces and on the gym floor.
In the communal and dining spaces we installed our CORESOUND 8” Ceiling Speakers for ambient background music and clear public announcements.
We equipped their instructors with Active Pro headset microphones to empower them to deliver clear and concise instructions in-class.
And to manage the distribution of the audio across the whole site, we installed our dependable APEX series amplifiers for efficient and reliable performance.
The Result
By working hand-in-hand with Places Leisure throughout the build, we were able to deliver an audio solution that helped them achieve their vision.
Places Leisure Camberley now offers a premium leisure experience at accessible prices.
